        Welcome to the third annual Manayunk Fools Run! This fun trail run along the Schuylkill river canal will hopefully be an event that participants look forward to each year. Each year the race will be dedicated to a person or family who despite the hardships they endured, still inspire all of us on a daily basis.
      This year the race will be in honor of Danny Craige, the father one of our very close friends.  Mr. Craige lost his courageous battle with esophageal cancer in 2006, but his energetic spirit will never be forgotten.   The proceeds from the run will go to the Danny Craige Foundation  which was founded to assist area youth continue their education.  By doing so, this enables the students to foster Danny's legacy of family, caring, and the importance of being involved in and giving back to their communities.
